Looks like the stars are perfect for the next Samsung Galaxy phone to show up. An invite has been spotted on the Samsung Tomorrow blog that reads about the official unveiling of the company’s Galaxy smartphone at the Samsung Mobile Unpacked 2012 event to be held on May 3.
This event is scheduled to take place in London with the venue and timings scribbled neatly on the invite. The anticipation radar is already high with the Samsung Galaxy S III at present, as we saw a leaked image surfacing on the web as well. And the event may witness the release of this Galaxy S II successor.
Hopefully, the Korea-based manufacturer has done its homework well, considering it’s the next Galaxy phone we’re talking about. While the Galaxy smartphones have ruled the roost in the Android market for quite some time now, we wonder what would be the high point for the freshest cookie.
The event will also be live streamed on Facebook, which should give prospective users an opportunity to take spot-on decisions. Though it’s most likely that we get to see the Samsung Galaxy S III, we cannot possibly be sure of which handset will be out in particular.
As for the specs, we can expect Android ICS and a fast quad core processor amongst others. While that’s the feature list for now, we’ll know exactly what the company is up to in about 20 more days. For now, Samsung’s next Galaxy phone release date is revealed to be May 3.
