New mophie juice pack air compatible to Verizon iPhone 4

mophie juice pack airWith almost every mobile case maker ready to dish out their version of a drape for the new iPhone 4, there’s no reason why someone as popular as mophie should be left out. The company recently announced that its juice pack air is now compatible to Verizon’s iPhone 4. Yes, the rechargeable battery case has been fashioned for dual compatibility to both AT&T’s and Verizon’s devices.

The high-spot of the case is its light-weight and super-thin rechargeable profile. It’s known to upscale the battery life of the iPhone by almost double. It wouldn’t hurt to be a part of the mophie legacy too with every iPhone and iPod touch since debut boasting of a mophie case.

“The addition of the Verizon iPhone is exciting because it opens up a huge market that is untapped,” shares Susan Schedel, mophie’s vice president of sales and marketing. “mophie’s passion is creating power solutions that give Apple fans an enhanced user experience and solve the battery challenge that on the go users face every day. We are excited to announce a solution that is compatible with both Verizon and AT&T iPhones and for a new audience of Verizon customers to experience the benefits of the juice pack air.”

Fitted with a 1500mAh rechargeable lithium polymer battery, this mophie covering for the iPhone 4 appears to stick by its name. There’s much ‘juice’ on offer with just a single charge. The fact that the case seems to be practical for protection only ups its ante. Without giving up on the style factor, users can anticipate protecting their device from bumps, drops and bangs. It’s sleek and ergonomic tailoring complements the soft-touch rubberized finish in black with the silver band rubbing that it gets.

Playing up as a virtual speaker box, the case directs sound from the base of the iPhone 4 to its facial area, allowing acoustic sound enhancement. There’s also an infused LED status indicator that does the needful for battery status. The included standby/charging switch seems quite self-explanatory at enabling standby and charging mode through a simple toggle switch. The best part about the juice pack air is that there’s no need to take off the iPhone from the pack as the device should sync seamlessly even otherwise.

The mophie juice pack air is up for pre-order now through the company’s official website. It carries a price tag of $79.95 and users can expect it to ship on February 28, 2011. Enthusiasts can further anticipate grabbing soft-touch red and glossy white versions of the pack in late March.
