Apple has made no delay in chalking out the new iPad price and availability details. While unveiling this fresh slate, the folks over at Cupertino had also read out the price tag wrapped around it. Suiting the needs of enthusiastic fans, the gadget has already been made available for pre-order.

Dressed in sophisticated shades of black or white, the new iPad will be seen in stores from March 16, which is almost a week away. Apart from the U.S., it is also expected in countries like Germany, Canada, Hong Kong, Japan, Australia, France, Switzerland, Puerto Rico, Singapore, the UK and the US Virgin Islands, on the aforementioned date. The 16GB model can be grabbed in the U.S. for $499. Users who demand more on the storage capacity front might prefer the 32GB or 64GB version. Both these devices come tagged with price labels of $599 and $699, respectively.

The new 4G LTE enabled tablet is said to compatible with all such networks around the globe. In addition to this, the company has slashed the price of its predecessor, the iPad 2. This might sound sweet to the ears of several aficionados worldwide, who have been waiting for it. The second generation device can now be grabbed at a price of $399 for the 16GB Wi-Fi only edition. It’s Wi-Fi + 3G enabled variation with the same internal memory now comes with a price tag of $529.

The new iPad Wi-Fi + 4G through AT&T or Verizon networks has also been priced. The 16GB, 32GB and 64GB variants are being made available at $629, $729 and $829, respectively.
