With every platform having its own online store for apps, the SNS giant has also got the same in the form of the Facebook App Center. This would serve as a collection of all the interesting apps like Bubble Witch Saga, Spotify, Draw Something, Viddy, Pinterest and Battle Pirates, among others.

As an added advantage, the center could provide developers with an avenue to evaluate and improve their apps. Considering the vast number of people accessing the SNS, a common place for all the desired apps should make the encounter easier.

“In the coming weeks, people will be able to access the App Center on the web and in the iOS and Android Facebook apps. All canvas, mobile and web apps that follow the guidelines can be listed. All developers should start preparing today to make sure their app is included for the launch,” states a post on the official Facebook Developer blog.

For each of the included titles or other kinds of software, there’s a detail page that enlightens users on the unique points of the concerned app. A new Insights ratings chart has been incorporated to make the developers assess their apps based on user feedback.

The app center includes all iOS, Google Play as well mobile web apps that are based on Facebook. Developers need to use the concerned Facebook log in for growing their apps via the center, and they can also create their own app detail page. This page is required for the app to appear on the center and to be seen by non-users on the SNS.

In a separate initiative, developers have the opportunity to create paid apps that require users to disburse an amount to access the software on the site. The Facebook App Center will reach members in the weeks to come.
