MyNetDiary Calorie Counter application for BlackBerry launched

MyNetDiary Calorie Counter The MyNetDiary Calorie Counter application for the BlackBerry which makes tracking food consumed and exercise simple and efficient, was launched recently.

Mobile access to MyNetDiary is now available, thanks to the free BlackBerry application released by 4Technologies Corporation. The company had previously released an iPhone Calorie Counter application.

“Smartphones, like the BlackBerry and iPhone,” remarks Serguei Orechko, CEO of 4Technologies Corporation, “are becoming lifestyle companions, and now they can be used to help people lose weight healthfully by keeping both their food and exercise logs up-to-date with their online MyNetDiary accounts while on-the-go.”

There is no other calorie counter and diet tool on the BlackBerry platform that is as full-featured and comprehensive as the MyNetDiary Calorie Counter. About 36 different nutrients are tracked by the MyNetDiary Calorie Counter. It also extracts food information from a database with over 88,000 US, UK and Canadian foods and restaurants.

This application is fully optimized for mobile phones. It searches as users type in and is also capable of automatically correcting typos. Users have unlimited access to food planning tools, charts and fully-detailed reports when this application is used in combination with a MyNetDiary account. MyNetDiary members can further send “tweets” of their foods, exercises and weigh-ins automatically, thanks to a link to Twitter.

The MyNetDiary Calorie Counter for BlackBerry is available for free for MyNetDiary subscribers. It can be downloaded directly to BlackBerry Storm via the BlackBerry App World application. It can also be downloaded and installed over-the-air (OTA) from MyNetDiary’s website. Special versions optimized for BlackBerry Bold and BlackBerry Curve are expected soon.
