Motorola Quench announced for Brazil

Motorola Quench Phone

Officially revealed during Mobile World Congress 2010, the Motorola Quench has its fastened belts to hit shelves in Brazil, via TIM, reports UnwiredView. Quench’s sleek touchscreen design, combined with great navigational features such as pinch and zoom and a touch pad, make browsing the web on its 3.1-inch high-resolution display a breeze.

The integrated Adobe Flash Lite enables rich media content such as banners and videos to be displayed and fully enjoyed on the device’s high-resolution display. The truly enticing Quench connects music enthusiasts with a new style of media player that allows them to buy and instantly download music from an MP3 store while integrating third apps such as TuneWiKi, SoundHound, GoTV, and YouTube.

Music maniacs can now share their favorite tracks, discover new ones, find lyrics, watch videos, and stream FM radio, thanks to the phone’s music search feature. For photography fiends, the device comes equipped with a 5.0 megapixel camera with auto-focus and LED flash. In fact, finding information online or within the unit is made even easier with voice-activated search.

Further, the Quench features an accelerometer, HSPA, Wi-Fi, A-GPS, Swype, HTML browser, 3.5mm headset jack, stereo Bluetooth, FM radio, 512MB ROM, 256MB RAM, and a Qualcomm MSM7201A 528 MHz processor.

The Motorola Quench is anticipated to be available in Brazil starting late March. The pricing details are yet to be announced. The handset will also be available in Europe, as well as via T-Mobile USA (as Motorola Cliq XT).
