Motorola’s second-gen Moto X is more affordable than before

The Motorola Moto X gen 2 flagship smartphone has been given yet another price cut in India where it’s now selling for Rs 24999 and up on Flipkart. What’s interesting is that this new reduction comes just over a week after the previous drop in the phone’s retail tag.

Well, this time around, the discounted amount is said to be part of a promotion and it may not be a permanent drop. A note on the Flipkart listing reads that this deal will be valid until stocks last or till the offer ends, but there’s no date on when the scheme will be pulled. Regardless of whether the new Motorola Moto X retail tag is here to stay, now couldn’t be a better time to purchase the smartphone.

The device is soon to get updated to Android 5.1 Lollipop and while it comes with KitKat out of the box, you can get it to version 5.0 right away. The phone may not be as powerful as new flagships, but it can still hold its ground as it has some great features onboard.

Unlike most other OEMs, Motorola is offering this phone with a pure Android experience that’s free of bloat and unwanted software. Also, there’s the always-on voice commands which allow you to control the phone without lifting a finger.
