Motorola Moto X Force making its way to India soon

The Motorola Moto X Force is all set to be unleashed in India soon, with the company officially announcing its imminent arrival via promotional teasers on its local Twitter page. The shatterproof phone was internationally launched back in October last year.

The video promo for the Motorola Moto X Force pits it against the Apple iPhone 6, Samsung Galaxy S6 and Sony Xperia Z5. When dropped, all the phones except for it break. The other teaser Twitter post questions whether the reader is among the 40% of people who are deathly scared of dropping their devices.

Rumblings about the Moto X Force coming to India began in November 2015, when Motorola head Amit Boni formally announced it would be released in the country. At the time, the brand also confirmed it plans to launch its Moto Maker customization service here, but that has seen no traction since.

The highlight of the Motorola device is its ShatterShield display. The firm has reinforced it with 5 layers to ensure it doesn’t break. It consists of an exterior and interior protective lens, a dual touch layer as a backup for the AMOLED display in case it gets damaged, and an aluminum chassis.
