Flipkart has run out of the stock for the Motorola Moto G’s 16GB version, but the e-retailer is asking interested customers to reserve their units before the upcoming batch sells out too. The new stock is expected to touch down in India in the next 10 to 20 days. As for the 8GB model, it continues to be available.
Flipkart is currently the only retailer that is selling the Moto G in India and on the launch day, it was sold out within the first hour of its release. The 16GB version comes across as the more preferred one considering that its onboard memory is not expandable. And another reason is the difference between the prices of the models, which isn’t much.
Let’s take a quick look at the features of the Moto G. This mid-range gadget is fitted with a 4.5-inch touchscreen that is capable of rendering visuals in 1280 x 720p resolution. A 5MP webcam has been fitted on the rear panel, while a 1.3MP webcam is present for facilitating video conferencing.
The device is based on the Android Jelly Bean 4.3 OS, but has already started receiving the KitKat update in some regions. A 1.2GHz quad core Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor is responsible for taking care of its multitasking properties and is accompanied by 1GB of RAM. It is powered by a 2070mAh battery.
The Motorola Moto G 8GB and 16GB phones are priced at Rs 12,499 and Rs 13,999, respectively via Flipkart.
