Motorola Moto G4, Moto G4 Plus to be Amazon-exclusive

The Motorola Moto G4 and Moto G4 Plus are all set to be sold exclusively via Amazon India after the two get launched. The handsets are widely expected to come out May 17 at an event being hosted by the brand in Delhi.

The company chose to reveal the availability details of the Motorola Moto G4 and Moto G4 Plus through its local Twitter handle. It later issued a press statement confirming that the phone will be an Amazon India-exclusive. Unfortunately, that’s pretty much the only thing it’s confirmed about the upcoming offerings.

Motorola is currently trying to build up the hype around the new phones by kickstarting a Missing Out campaign which focuses on all the things a person is losing out on due to their smartphone. For instance, it questions whether a person’s camera is spoiling moments due to blurry or shaken snaps caused by slow autofocus abilities.

The other teasers follow a similar theme, pointing out how most phones hang while playing video games or die due to low battery capacity. Rumors so far have indicated that the Moto G4 will sport specs like a 5.5-inch 1080p screen, 16GB of room, 2GB of RAM and a 13MP primary shooter.

The Motorola Moto G4 Plus will get the added benefit of a fingerprint scanner embedded within the physical home button and a 16MP main lens. We’ll let you know the moment the specs of both handsets are announced officially on May 17.
