Motorola collaborates with Verizon Wireless to roll out stylish Citrus handset

Motorola has made a mark in the world of communication with innovative products. Well, the company has now teamed up with Verizon Wireless to unfurl its attractive Android 2.1 Motorola Citrus handset. The sleek and stylish curve design captivates many users.

Incorporated with a convenient QWERTY keypad, the device boasts of offering an easy-to-use interface. Equipped with HTML web browser, the handset comes integrated with Bing Search and Bing Maps. Apart from this, users can effortlessly access several engaging web apps and services like Facebook, Gmail, Google Talk and YouTube.

The device flaunts BackTrack which is an efficient touch panel fitted on the back. Users can navigate and scroll various websites, homescreen, e-mails and music with utmost ease. The vibrant and eye-catchy touchscreen puts forth fluid flick, swipe and pinch-to-zoom features.

The enthralling seven homescreen panels can be precisely modified with a wide range of shortcuts, applications and integrated widgets like sticky notes, weather, messages and calendar. Handset owners can immerse themselves in various apps available in the Android Market.

The chassis is crafted with 25 percent post-consumer recycled plastic and is certified CarbonFree. The device is wrapped in a packaging created from 80 percent post-consumer recycled paper, while the user manual is made using 100 percent recycled paper and soy-based ink.

The mobile phone is anticipated to be available through Verizon Wireless Stores and the official website from Q4, 2010.
