Motorockr U9 set to rock India

Motorockr U9 Mobile Phone Motorola unveiled its cute and compact clamshell Motorockr U9 to India in a press event held at New Delhi, India. The ROCKR U9 winked at the Indian market with Motorola’s Brand Ambassador and international rocker and musician Wyclef Jean who gifted India’s first Motorockr U9 to the pretty lady ‘Miss India World 2008’ Parvathy Omanakuttan.

The Motorockr U9 is a great combination of excellent quality music plus good looks. The phone displays a metallic glossy finish with a curvaceous body and proudly flashes it’s floating, animated screensavers that appear on the external display. The small phone rocks it off with CrystalTalk Technology, external touch sensitive music controls and Stereo Bluetooth.

The Motorockr U9 delivers excellent music quality with the Microsoft Windows Media Player 11 with one-touch access to the music library and supports various audio files such as Windows WMAv10 plus Janus DRM, MP3, AAC, AAC+, AAC+ enhanced.

The other specifications include a clear 2MP camera with x zoom, multi-shot feature, video capture and playback. The music phone has 25MB of internal memory and can store up to 4GB of memory with its external memory card slot.

The Motorockr U9 will be available in 2 versions; one being the Deluxe Pack (1GB microSD card) and the other will be the Premium Pack (2GB microSD card plus stereo Bluetooth Rokr S9). The Rokr U9 is phone expected to be available in Indian markets by end of May with prices ranging from RS 10,000 to 15,000.
