Moto Z2 Play coming to India on June 8

Motorola has officially confirmed that the new Moto Z2 Play will be arriving in India on June 8. The brand took to its local Twitter handle to announce the news, stating that the event will be live streamed.

The Moto Z2 Play will go up for pre-orders on the same day. Strangely enough, Motorola chose to announce this before actually confirming when exactly the handset would be unveiled. In any case, interested buyers can pre-order the device from 8 to 15 June via offline shops.

There’s no mention of online outlets, so we’ll have to wait and see whether pre-booking will be available through e-commerce websites. Early birds eager to get their hands on the smartphone can order it in advance by paying up Rs 2000 and then paying the rest in Easy EMIs over the course of 10 months at no interest.

The catch here is that they can only do so via Bajaj or Home Credit. If that doesn’t suit their needs, consumers can alternatively swipe their card at select stores and convert the payment into a 3/6/9/12 month EMI at 0% interest. The other two schemes promise ‘exciting’ offers on Moto Mods and a Moto Armor Pack.
