Moto X will be landing in India sometime in the next few weeks

It looks like the Moto G phone’s success has prompted Motorola to release the Moto X in India as well and if all goes as planned, then the device will be here in a matter of a few weeks itself. But those who are already eagerly anticipating the device’s arrival in the subcontinent will have to be patient as an exact release date has not been revealed.

This piece of information was revealed through the official Motorola Mobility Twitter account. A follower had asked the company about the Moto X’s arrival in Asia to which the company responded by saying that it is headed to both India as well as Australia. The tweet has been embedded below.

And if that’s not enough, the conglomerate even spilled the beans regarding the successor of the smartphone in question. Apparently, the next generation Moto X is currently in the works and interested customers can expect it to be launched this summer.

Even though the handset will land in India, there is not much possibility of Moto Maker coming here. As you may already know, Moto Maker is the website available in the US which allows potential buyers to customize the device and get messages, names and more engraved on it. Western Europe and Mexico are expected to welcome the customization tool in the second quarter of this year.

As soon as we come to know anything about the availability of the Moto X, we will let you know. So stay tuned.
