An onboard X8 processor serves as a catalyst while showing off the smartphone’s three major highlights. It comprises of four Adreno 320 GPU cores, a dual core Snapdragon S4 Pro chipset as well as two low-power cores. Thanks to this architecture, the device springs into action with a single ‘OK Google Now’ command.

It also displays throbbing icons of apps which have received a notification and fires up the camera with two flicks of users’ wrists. But then again, we cannot really say that these features have debuted through the handset, considering that they had been spotted on Verizon’s recent Droid series.

The 16GB Moto X will strike Best Buy’s chain of stores at $199 with a two-year service agreement, while AT&T has outlined $249 as a price for the 32GB version on contract. Sprint, Verizon and US Cellular will also be home to the smartphone.
