Finally the world’s lightest mobile phone is here and it’s official thanks to the Guinness World Record award recognition that this phone has received.
Modu, the lightest phone weighs only 40.1g and its dimensions are 72.1 mm x 37.6 mm x 7.8 mm. The light Modu phone features Bluetooth and music playback. Although the phone is the lightest of all, yet it manages to have a major storage space of 1GB Memory.
The phone will be able to use add on jackets like for example PDA-like “modu executive” which offers a QWERTY keyboard and email access or a camera or music player. The add on jacket allows one to choose a jacket which is the most required one and eliminates features which may not be required.
The phone will reach the markets only by the fourth quarter of 2008 and the price is expected to be around 200 euros which may not be light on the pockets though.
