The mobile phones with the inclusion of Google’s Android platform were supposedly to hit the markets during the second half of the year. Google along with T-Mobile USA was to launch the handsets with Android platform in the second half of the year. This smartphone has been much awaited.
The Wall Street Journal (WSJ) has reported that T-Mobile has taken up so many resources of Google that its other partners like Sprint have to delay the launch of Android on its network. Well, Sprint is said to delay the launch until it has the hardware to run this Android phone on 4G network. To add to the intricacies faced by Google, China Mobile is unable to translate the Android software into Chinese characters.
With July 11 approaching so is the oficial availabilty of the Apple’s 3G iPhone, Google might lose some customers who have been waiting for the Android smartphone.
