Now-a-days, we cannot do without our mobile phones and if by mistake we forget it or it runs out of battery we feel so handicapped. But this heavy use of mobile phones is not very good in actual fact as it increases the risk of cancer to the salivary glands. The study shows that there is link between mobile phones and cancer.
It says that people who use mobile phones on one side of the face for a long time approximately 50% a day are detected with developing salivary gland tumors.
According to the Dr. Siegal Sadetzki, a cancer specialist at Tel Aviv University, investigation in the cases of nearly 500 Israelis it has diagnosed with beginning and malignant tumors of the salivary gland.
This type of the cancer in the salivary gland is found very rarely. It is said that people from rural areas have a higher risk of having these tumors than the people staying in the cities. The reason that people staying in the rural areas do not have strong signals and they need to search for network antennas so more radiation is emitted during the search which leads to formation of tumors in the salivary glands.
However many researchers say that there is no harm as there is actual no link between cancer and mobile phones. So we yet don’t know whether to believe this study or not. The link between mobile phones and cancer is yet not confirmed.
