Mio Technology is one of the leading players in the mobile GPS industry. It is developing a GPS-enabled 3.5G Windows Mobile smartphone.
Mio Technology says that the phone will have a touchscreen interface along with a self-designed GUI called Spirit on top of WM6.1 Pro. The phone will include navigation feature so that the users can reach their destination if they get lost at an unknown place. The phone will integrate all the internet features for easy access. It will have a 3.2 megapixel camera with auto-focus.
The phone has not been given any name yet by the company. It is likely that the Mio GPS-enabled Smartphone may have a 7 or 8 inch display screen and support for 3G connectivity. The phone is expected to hit the market with its impressive display in Q1 2009. The exact date on its availability and its price is not yet announced.
