Back in the month of July, we had seen Lemon Mobiles join hands with mig33. The handset manufacturer had agreed to pre-install mig33 on all its Internet-enabled mobile phones. Well, mig33 has now decided to move forward and explore new horizons. The company has enunciated that the beta variant of its social entertainment service has now been unraveled for the Android platform.

mig33 boasts of attracting more than 40 million registered users world over. The company believes that its presence on Android will augment its future growth and possibilities. Besides, it’s quite well known by now that Google’s operating system has made quite an uproar in countries worldwide.

“In our world, an Android customer and a mig33 fan are veritable soul mates, and this will become only more true in coming months,” stated Steven Goh, CEO and co-founder, mig33. “Both are social, savvy, mobile-centric, and entertainment-oriented – and both are just as likely to prize value as they are higher-end devices. mig33 for Android was built specifically for those customers. Moreover, our Android offering ensures that mig33’s social entertainment services and virtual goods marketplace will be front and center for the next several generations of both mass-market smartphones and value-oriented handsets from the world’s top brands.”

With the mig33, handset owners can access a whole lot of games, chat features, virtual goods and other social entertainment services. Currently the beta can be downloaded on any Android device. However, the company anticipates that it will soon come pre-installed with several Android based mobile phones.

Social butterflies who wish to check out the beta version of this solution can now visit m.mig33.com from their mobile web browsers. mig33 is compatible with Android 2.1 and higher.
