The much awaited Lumia 930 and the newly unveiled Lumia 830 and 730 smartphones have at last been officially introduced in India by Microsoft. And the Redmond giant couldn’t have picked a better time to bring the latest handsets to the country as the festive season of Diwali is just about to begin.
Well, Microsoft isn’t going to be the only company cashing in on festive shoppers as other top OEMs such as Samsung, HTC, LG, Sony and even Lenovo brought their flagships to India over the past couple of weeks. The Lumia 930 is the latest flagship amongst the Nokia-branded phones.
Its comes with the latest WP8.1 release and features top-of-the-line hardware such as a 2.2GHz quad core Snapdragon 800 SOC, 2GB RAM, 32GB storage, a 20MP rear camera with Zeiss optics and a 2420mAh battery. The phone features an aluminum frame with a polycarbonate rear, while the front packs a 5-inch 1920 x 1080p FHD OLED display with Corning Gorilla Glass 3.
The Lumia 830 also has flagship status, but in the mid-range category. This handset features the PureView technology at an affordable price and it packs a 10MP camera on the rear. It draws power from a 1.2GHz quad core Snapdragon 400 SOC and delivers visuals through a 5-inch LCD at 720p HD resolution.
Other features of the device include 1GB RAM, 16GB storage and a 2200mAh battery. Last we have the Lumia 730 which is popularly known as Microsoft’s first selfie phone.

The Nokia Lumia 930 is priced at Rs 38649 and it will go up for grabs from October 15, while the Lumia 830 is pegged at Rs 28799 with sales commencing from October 8 onwards. The Lumia 730 selfie phone will hit stores on the 6th at Rs 15299.
