The Microsoft Surface Pro price and release date have stepped out and the good news is that it won’t be long before the tablet strikes online and retail stores. The catch here is that it will be initially made available in select outlets across the US and Canada only. Buyers can also opt to use it as a convertible by adding the optional keyboard to their shopping list.
Microsoft will be shipping the Surface Pro in the 64GB and the 128GB variants. The tablet holds a 10.6-inch ClearType display within dimensions of 10.81” x 6.81” x 0.53”. The screen’s ability to present visuals in full HD may speak in favor of the device and give a higher stand on the pedestal when it comes to dealing with competition. The 2-pound convertible gives refuge to the volume and power buttons along with a cover port, USB 3.0 slot and more.
It conceals a third generation Intel Core i5 chip and it runs on the Windows 8 Pro OS. The processor shares space with 4GB of RAM and drags in an HD Graphics 4000 GPU. Users will stumble upon the engraved dual LifeCams cameras, each possessing the capability to capture videos in 720p.
Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n should be able to satiate users’ web browsing needs, while they can depend on Bluetooth 4.0 for wireless sharing of content. Limited editions of three fresh Touch Covers namely, red, magenta and cyan, will also be gliding into stores for a cost of $129.99, each. And finally, buyers will be given a choice to purchase a Wedge Touch Mouse for $69.95.
