Microsoft Lumia 435 exchange offer baits in Nokia Asha users

If you’re still holding onto one of those Nokia Asha handsets and are looking to swap it for a Windows Phone device, the Microsoft Lumia 435 comes with an offer you may find hard to resist. The company has announced a Smart Exchange deal for such phones, allowing you to trade-in the old for a sweet discount on the said WP8.1 device.

The smart exchange offer is applicable to a long roster of devices. With the Asha 500, Asha 501, Asha 502 and Asha 503, the Redmond giant is promising a guaranteed discount of Rs 1500, while phones such as the Asha 305, Asha 306, Asha 308, Asha 309, Asha 310 and Asha 311 will fetch you Rs 1000. These amounts will be discounted on the full retail value of the Microsoft Lumia 435 which is Rs 5999.

What’s more, those who upgrade to the new Microsoft handset will be applicable to Rs 1250 cashback of recharges via the Paytm application. This will only be applicable during the offer period which is said to go on until April 15. The company also notes that the smart exchange promo might get cut short if stock runs out ahead of the deadline.

The Lumia 435 was announced back in February and is currently on sale at around Rs 5500 through ecommerce websites. The handset is the cheapest option in the Lumia family, but not the most affordable release to run Windows Phone 8.1. Also, Microsoft has promised to update the phone to Windows 10 when the OS get released later this year.
