The Microsoft Lumia 435 smartphone which was launched just last month has been swiftly released in India and it’s on sale at a very attractive price. The phone is the cheapest option from the company’s lineup as it’s retailing for just Rs 5999 and it stands up pretty well against the competition.
The Microsoft Lumia 435 is at the bottom of the chart where hardware is concerned, but it does offer a good dose of performance, enough for it to get a guaranteed update to Windows 10. The handset is preloaded with the latest release of WP8.1 (Lumia Denim) and the company disclosed in a blog post that the phone will be able to run the upcoming OS as and when it gets released.
Like all Windows Phones from Microsoft, this one also comes in multiple colors, namely black, white, orange and green. However, only the first two shades are currently available with the others expected to arrive soon. The handset offers visuals via a WVGA display of 4 inches wide and it also has dual cameras – a 2MP shooter on the rear and a VGA snapper on the front.
On the inside, the Lumia 435 has been fitted with dual SIM card slots which are pretty much standard for emerging markets. There’s HSPA+ connectivity as well, and a 1.2GHz quad core Qualcomm processor to do the heavy lifting.
