The Micromax Yu Yureka is among the most successful smartphones in India at the moment, and its buyers are soon to be presented with an Android 5.0 Lollipop treat. While a definite release date for the same hasn’t been disclosed officially, a teaser image has hinted that March 26 is what owners of the device should be looking forward to.
The Micromax Yu Yureka is currently running on the Android 4.4 KitKat-based Cyanogen 11 OS, so it’s certain that its Android 5.0 Lollipop build will be the Cyanogen 12 software pack which has already been released unofficially for some devices. To see what this ROM has on offer, you can watch the video we’ve embedded in the space below.
Micromax’s Yu has decided to tease the update by releasing a ‘connect the dots’ puzzle through its social channels. It’s obvious that once joined together, these dots turn into the shape of a lollipop. Now what’s interesting is that there are 26 dots in total, which is what is leading many – including us – to believe that the Android 5.0 release will take place for the phone on March 26.
Here’s a quick look at the impressive specs which the Micromax Yu Yureka comes equipped with:
– Display: 5.5-inch, 720p HD
