The Micromax Smarty 4.3 A65 price has popped up on various online shopping portals and within a month of releasing the Smarty 3.0 A30, the company has gone forth and introduced one more Android-driven handset to its lineup. The device is an entry-level smartphone which strides amongst the affordable phones in the country.
The Smarty 4.3 A65 is a dual SIM handset preloaded with the Gingerbread OS. It flaunts a 4.3-inch TFT capacitive touchscreen display and has a resolution of 480 x 800 pixels. Based on the ARM architecture, the Cortex A5 processor runs at a clock speed of up to 1GHz and it will be sharing the interior with 512MB of RAM.
Users will spot a 2MP camera drilled onto the back panel, which will solely be undertaking activities such as clicking pictures and capturing videos. The snapper may not come with auto focus, but it does manage to bag in a flash.
The company has rolled out the smartphone with an inbuilt memory of 4GB out of which, only 190MB has been made available to users for hoarding purposes. For those who find the flash storage capacity inadequate, an expansion slot has been embedded onto the handset and it is said to be compatible with a microSD card of up to 32GB.
Not surprisingly, there exists Wi-Fi along with Bluetooth 2.1 to facilitate wireless sharing. In addition to this, GPS has also been included for turn-by-turn navigation. Since the phone runs on Android, it will provide access to the Google Play store and besides this, users can also download apps via the company’s Mi Store.
Some of the apps that the handset will be shipping with include Hook Up, Facebook, WhatsApp, and Cricket Fever. A 1,350mAh battery rests under the hood and keeps the phone up and running. It is said to render 5 hours of talk time or 205 hours of standby on a single charge for those on 2G networks.
Flipkart will be distributing the Micromax Smarty 4.3 A65 at a price of Rs. 4,999, but it has currently been listed as out of stock. The handset can also be found on eBay pegged at Rs. 7,475. Buyers can check out other entry-level smartphones such the Lava Xolo X500 and the Idea Ivory that have recently been launched across the country.
