New affordable Micromax handsets Bolt S300 and Bolt D320 launched

Fitted with 4-inch and 4.5-inch displays respectively, the Micromax Bolt S300 and Bolt D320 smartphones have just been officially introduced in India by the Gurgaon-based company. These extremely affordable gadgets hold entry-level components, but still manage to proffer support for 3G networks.

The existence of the Micromax Bolt S300 was learned about a few days back when it was found listed on the manufacturer’s Russian website. Moreover, a Mumbai-based retailer had already told us its price as well. It is now available in India at Rs 3300, and as for the Bolt D320, it will begin its journey in the market in mid-April at an undisclosed but conceivably low retail value.

Micromax Bolt S300

The Bolt S300 features a 4-inch WVGA display, and runs on a 1GHz single core processor. This smartphone furthermore, kicks in 512MB of RAM and 4GB of internal storage that can be expanded further up to 32GB by means of its microSD card slot. Front and rear VGA cameras find their way into the gadget as well, apart from a 1200mAh battery and the Android 4.4 KitKat OS.

The Micromax Bolt D320 runs the same version of Google’s OS, but offers a slightly larger 4.5-inch FWVGA display. It has been blessed with a 1.2GHz dual core processor that’s assisted in its operations by 512MB worth of RAM. This smartphone too bears 4GB of storage and a microSD card slot supporting 32GB of additional space. Its other highlights include a 3.2MP rear camera, a VGA front snapper and a 1600mAh battery.

Like we said, while the Micromax Bolt S300 has already hit the Indian market at Rs 3300, the Bolt D320 will be arriving in mid-April with a slightly higher retail value.
