The Micromax Funbook Ultra HD P580 tablet may not have been released officially by the company in India, but it has already been made available via an online retailer. It can be picked up in black and white shades for an affordable price of just under Rs 12,000.
Like most of the other budget-friendly tablets in the country, this one is based on the Android platform as well. It makes the most of the Jelly Bean 4.2.2 OS, but we are not expecting a software update to be beamed out to it anytime soon. Also, a SIM card slot has been carved into the device, so you can expect voice calling capabilities as well as a built-in 3G module for fast on-the-go web access.
The device’s IPS touchscreen measures 7.8 inches diagonally and delivers HD visuals.
