The Micromax Canvas Xpress 4G has been launched in India and is now retailing exclusively via Flipkart for Rs 6599. The device is the latest LTE-enabled handset to be produced by the company, which has been pushing out affordable smartphones supporting the faster network for a while now.
The dual-SIM Micromax Canvas Xpress 4G is being offered with an Airtel double data offer valid for 6 months. Taking a closer look at its specs, the phone sports a 5-inch IPS screen with a resolution of 720 x 1280p. It’s powered by a 1GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6735P processor working in collaboration with 2GB of RAM.
The Micromax device has been stuffed with 16GB of internal space. In case users run out, the company has equipped the device with a microSD card slot in order to add up to 32GB of extra room. Coming to its camera capabilities, an 8MP autofocus lens can be found on its rear surface while a 2MP fixed-focus one graces its front.

The entry-level Xpress 4G derives its power from a 2000mAh battery and ships with Android 5.1 Lollipop inside. Micromax estimates it can last for 182 hours of standby time on 2G and 6.5 hours of talk time. Connectivity options consist of Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth, microUSB 2.0 and GPS.
