Micromax has jumped on the mini bandwagon which has recently been popularized by companies like Samsung, HTC and Sony amongst others, to introduce the Canvas Turbo Mini A200. The device was leaked back in December when we had no idea that a certain A200 gadget from the Indian manufacturer will turn out to be the junior Canvas Turbo.

But it became pretty clear, when it showed up online once again. And merely a few days after the picture stormed out, Micromax itself went official with the smartphone. While it chose to keep all the details close to its chest, a certain e-retailer went right ahead to reveal the price of the phone that stands at just below the Rs 14,500 mark. And you will be glad to know that the device has now hit availability status in India.

Features and specifications:

The Canvas Turbo Mini gives direct competition to the Lava Iris Pro 30 and a lot of other HD quad core smartphones that do not fall in the phablet category. The 4.7-inch handset is dipped in shades of white and blue, but currently only the latter is in stock. Its white model availability continues to be under wraps. Coming back to its specifications, the dual SIM gadget’s 1280 x 720p touchscreen has a 5MP camera for company, while the flip side plays host to an 8MP snapper.

This 3G-enabled Micromax smartphone employs a quad core processor ticking at 1.3GHz to support multiple tasks at the same time and 1GB of RAM has been chosen to assist it. 4GB of onboard storage is all that you get with the gadget, but the company understands that it is not enough and hence, offers a microSD slot so you can hoard digital content of up to 32GB on a memory card.

And what’s more, a 1800mAh battery has been incorporated in the phone so you can expect talk time and standby time of 6 hours and 180 hours, respectively in the 2G mode. You do get access to 3G and if you find a Wi-Fi hotspot, simply connect it via the built-in module for faster internet. Essential sensors, Bluetooth, GPS, audio and video players and FM radio are just some of its other advantages. And as the Android Jelly Bean 4.2 OS powers the gadget, you can visit the Google Play store to download any number of games and apps to stay entertained as well as productive at all times.

Conclusion:

Micromax has not revealed the price of the Canvas Turbo Mini officially, but Flipkart has already started selling it for Rs 14,490.
