There’s so little difference in the prices of the Rs 9900 Micromax Canvas Power A96 and Rs 8900 Canvas Elanza A93, you’re probably wondering if the more expensive of the two is enough of an upgrade to justify its marginally higher cost. Well, it is indeed in a couple of ways, though we’d give the A93 a slightly higher score in the looks department.
But how a phone looks is a matter of opinion, of course. It’s what’s under the hood that really counts, right? In terms of most of the specifications and features, both smartphones are almost evenly matched. If it wasn’t for one or two differences, the Micromax Canvas Power A96 would have no justification for being priced at Rs 1000 more than its rival.

Although the RAM and internal storage of the Canvas Power A96 haven’t been mentioned by Micromax, it’s not likely to have less than 1GB of RAM and 4GB ROM. We might even go so far as to guess that both devices will also share the 32GB memory expandability specification.
What makes one better than the other:
Where the A96 really shows off its superiority is on matters of the integrated battery and chip. It has a 1.3GHz quad core processor, while its rival has to make do with a dual core one. Additionally, the former comes with a 4000mAh battery, while the latter gets its juice from a 1950mAh powerhouse.
