Micromax Canvas Knight A350 is now receiving its Android KitKat 4.4.2 update

Earlier models of the Micromax Canvas Knight A350 which came equipped with the Android 4.2 Jelly Bean software are now reportedly being upgraded to the Android 4.4.2 KitKat variant of Google mobile OS. The download is being rolled out in an OTA fashion, and has brought with it a number of improvements to the dual SIM phone’s offerings.

Like we said, when the Micromax Canvas Knight A350 was first unveiled with its advanced hardware specifications back in March, it carried onboard the Android 4.2 Jelly Bean OS. However, later models of the handset starting shipping with the KitKat version of the software, while the buyers of the initial devices were sort of left in the lurch.

Their demands have finally been addressed by Micromax now. As reported by DroidGuru, this update is live now and is sized at around 388MB. It adds to the device various features that already form part of the KitKat software, while also removing some bloatware apps like Where is my Perry, Toy Story and Kingsoft Office.
