The onslaught of budget KitKat devices continues with the Micromax Canvas Fire A093 going on sale in India, positioning itself as the company’s fourth Android 4.4 addition in the sub-Rs 7000 price range. The handset is currently available for purchase through online retailer Infibeam where it’s tagged at Rs 6999.
The Micromax Canvas Fire A093 is the second device to go official this month, not to mention several other phones that were launched in June. Before it was put up for grabs on Infibeam, a local retailer disclosed its arrival and mentioned that it’s on sale at Rs 6299 which is much lower than what the e-commerce website is asking.
This could be the street price for the smartphone, but nothing is confirmed as yet since the company is yet to officially disclose the arrival of the phone. Design-wise, the A093 isn’t like most other devices on the market. It basically combines the looks of the HTC One M8 with what appears to be a metal frame on the sides and a rear panel which’s akin to that of the Canvas Knight.

What’s more, there are dual stereo speakers on the front accompanied by a 4-inch WVGA display and a VGA camera. On the flipside, the company has gone with a 5MP snapper and an LED flash. The phone is dual SIM enabled with one slot support HSPA+ networks.
