The Micromax Canvas Duet 2 has gone up for sale already, without waiting for an official announcement from the company and those who are interested in laying their hands on the gadget, will have to part with an amount of Rs 15,990, as was rumored. And whatever else we heard about the smartphone has turned out to be true as well, so you can look forward to CDMA network compatibility.
The dual SIM Micromax Canvas Duet 2 EG111 employs a 5.3-inch touchscreen which has a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels. There are dual cameras too. A webcam for facilitating video conferencing on the move and an 8MP snapper are fitted on front and rear sides of the device, respectively.
Its intuitive interface is due to the Android Jelly Bean 4.1 OS, but we have no idea if it will be upgraded or not. Packed within a chassis measuring 76.9 x 154.9 x 9.9 millimeters, is a quad core Qualcomm Snapdragon 200 processor as well as 1GB of RAM. And the responsibility of keeping the device going for an entire day has been assigned to a lithium-polymer battery of 2300mAh capacity.
The Micromax Canvas Duet 2 EG111 is available now for the aforementioned price at Flipkart, but nothing has been mentioned about it officially as yet.
