Micromax has finally given some credentials to the Canvas Doodle A111 in India which had recently been spotted in some leaked pictures and has simultaneously revealed the handset’s price. After taking one look at the smartphone, we can say that the earlier source to have popped up with the images had done an admirable job. But what it had been unable to disclose is that the gadget tags stylus along with it.
The Micromax Canvas DOODLE A111 indeed flaunts a 5.3-inch capacitive touch display. However, no mention of the resolution has been made, so we have been left with no option but to believe that the handset should come with a qHD screen as mentioned in the earlier rumor. Similarly, we will assume that the phone’s quad core Snapdragon 200 processor has been clocked at 1.2GHz based on our previous speculations, due to the absence of required details.
The manufacturer has also confirmed that the onboard battery actually scales up to 2,100mAh. It has added that this power pack should hold the capability of rendering up to 6.5 hours of talk time or 220 hours of standby. Although the prediction of an 8MP integrated camera residing on the flip side has been verified, the device’s front panel has been presented with a 2MP webcam and not 1.2MP.
If users were to rely solely on the internal memory to douse their storage desires, the availability of 1.2GB flash hoarding space might prove to be inadequate. The company however has attempted to compensate for this by embedding a microSD card slot which can permit expansions of up to 32GB. The manufacturer has authenticated the existence of 512MB of RAM as well.
The Micromax Canvas Doodle A111 which is a dual SIM smartphone like most handsets from its portfolio has been made available in India pegged at a price of Rs. 12,999. At present, it can only be found at the doorstep of Snapdeal. In case people don’t wish spend the entire amount all at once, they can opt for the e-retailer’s EMI schemes which begin at Rs. 2,166 per month for six months.
