With the Canvas 5 Lite special edition, Micromax has now joined the list of brands offering wooden-finished phones in India after Xolo, Lenovo and Motorola. The latter started the trend with the walnut-finish rear on the Moto X in 2014. Soon to follow it was the Xolo Q1020 which limited its wooden accents to the sides of the handset.
Only in July, Lenovo joined the bandwagon with the Lenovo Vibe K4 Note wooden edition.
