The Micromax Bolt A067 is expected to go official in India any day now as an entry-level smartphone and it’s said to carry a price tag of Rs 3899. The handset, however, is already on sale through a local online retailer which isn’t surprising at all as this wouldn’t be the first time a phone reached the market before getting revealed.
Where features are concerned, the Micromax Bolt A067 is quite similar to the Bolt A065 handset which went on sale early November. Local retailer Mahesh Telecom has posted specs and an image of the phone on Facebook. Based on the details provided, the handset offers a basic Android experience with KitKat made available out of the box. It carries a 4-inch display on the front with WVGA visuals and has dual cameras.
The primary snapper which is on the rear is rated at 2MP while the secondary shooter is a VGA sensor for video calling over the internet only. That’s mainly because the Micromax handset doesn’t have 3G HSPA connectivity and offers data access over GPRS and EDGE. On the upside, Wi-Fi b/g/n is present along with other features such as Bluetooth and dual SIM card slots.
The latest addition to the Bolt series is powered by a 1.3GHz dual core MediaTek processor and it gains support from just 512MB of RAM. For storage, there’s 4GB of internal memory and a microSD slot which can accommodate cards of up to 32GB.
