Ready to join the league of low-end smartphones in India is the Micromax Bolt A064 which has found its way onto the company’s website, but has not yet been announced officially. That also means there’s no price that can be quoted, but we do know the kind of components it will come packed with.
The phone isn’t an impressive device by any means, since it features an extremely modest array of specs. Moreover, it does not even kick in 3G support, as both its SIM card slots have been created to be compatible with 2G GSM networks only.
Hence, Micromax will need to keep its price down at lot in order to compete with other similarly-spec’d handsets that are offering 3G support. These include the Intex Aqua 4X which has been priced at just Rs 2999.
