Sorry about bringing this up again, but the Micromax A105 Canvas is surely eager to be the fiercest Motorola Moto E competitor with its Rs 6999 price and the Android KitKat OS onboard as well. That’s right, ever since Motorola got out its goods for the budget friendly smartphone market, every other handset maker has been witch-hunting it with their own champions for daring to be so popular where all others have had fleeting success.
Until recently, the low-end handset category had been spewing out very forgettable offerings. After the Moto E launch, it looks like every OEM is interested in playing in this arena. The Micromax A105 Canvas may end up being the phone’s strongest rival yet by sheer strength of the company’s brand reputation in India (just below Samsung) and then some.

The Micromax phone has a quad core CPU which is definitely not a Qualcomm Snapdragon one or the company would not have been able to price it so low. We’d hazard a guess at it being a MediaTek chipset. It disappoints on the RAM front with just 512MB of the same, though you should note that KitKat is built to work on all sorts of devices, low- to high-end.
