MGM Mirage has come up with an innovative way of allowing people to experience Las Vegas with five free iPhone apps that have been made available through iTunes. Users can browse through information on the hotels and attractions of Las Vegas with Mandalay Bay, MGM Grand, New York-New York, Entertainment of Las Vegas and AR app Vegas Reality.

AR app Vegas Reality is designed to be compatible with iPhone 3GS. Users can obtain information about the Strip, Tropicana Avenue and Las Vegas Boulevard on their screens by pointing a camera and GPS-equipped phone at casinos and hotels. Tickets can be booked and reservations made with one touch and Twitter can be accessed for real-time property deals and events. A ‘fun facts’ option for information and videos, peeks into CityCenter’s Fine Art collection and a virtual exploration of Vegas are offered with this app.

Mirage’s Mandalay Bay, MGM Grand, New York-New York resort apps which have been crafted for iPhone, iPod touch and iPad extend one-touch functionality for booking reservations. Users can sample videos of shows, book tickets and check the seating arrangements with any of the aforesaid apps. The apps deliver information in French, German, Italian, Japanese or Spanish. Users can avail of room service, look through menus and make reservations too.

The rules and norms of the casino games can be perused or patrons can join the Player’s Club with this app. The provided GPS maps and indoor casino maps ought to draw the feet faster and with much less confusion to these venues. Itineraries, party photos and other details can be kept protected by locking it using passwords. Users can also look forward to targeted content and deals based on user locations, checking up on the local weather and more.
