MetroPCS moves in with new 4G LTE service plans

MetroPCS Logo MetroPCS’ Huawei Ascend Android smartphone delights many mobile enthusiasts with a vibrant 3.5-inch HVGA auto-rotate touchscreen and nine customizable homescreens. The company has now announced new 4G LTE no annual contract service plans.

The $40 service plan engages users with unlimited talk, text, 4G web browsing and YouTube access. The $50 service plan bundles together all services which are included in the $40 plan. Besides, it comes along with international and premium text messaging, turn-by-turn navigation with MetroNavigator, ScreenIT, mobile instant messaging, corporate e-mail and premium features via the company’s MetroSTUDIO service.

“Our customers told us they wanted more video, more sharing of their content and more Web browsing capabilities they want to have it all with the value and no annual contract that only MetroPCS can deliver,” remarked Roger D. Linquist, president, CEO and chairman of MetroPCS. “Our 4G LTE network can deliver unlimited voice and mobile broadband data services and, with these new service plans, consumers are in the driver’s seat on how much additional data access and real-time entertainment content they want to pay for on a monthly basis.”

The $60 service plan steps in with same premium features as the $50 plan. Further, it also offers unlimited data access and MetroSTUDIO premium content like 18 video-on-demand channels and audio downloads.

These new 4G LTE rate plans are available in nine metropolitan areas where MetroPCS offers 4G LTE services. The company is also expected to expand its 4G LTE services in other metropolitan areas in 2011.
