The Martian Notifier is a cool new smartwatch which has made its way into India through Flipkart, flaunting an attractive price tag that stands at Rs 9999. It can be pre-ordered by interested parties currently, but they’ll have to wait until October 10 for deliveries to commence.
The Notifier, as its name suggests, has its focus set on notifications. And that’s mainly why it hasn’t been equipped with high-end features which the Apple Watch or Android Wear products possess. It can hook up with your phone to display whatever notifications you receive on its tiny screen.
It grabs a round dial, and comes complete with a traditional analog watch placed on its front surface. A small OLED display occupies space on this panel, acting as the notifier. This Martian smartwatch connects to your phone using Bluetooth, and claims to support notifications from over a thousand apps that include the likes of Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp, Twitter, Skype and more.

It enables you to easily dismiss a notification by tapping its screen, or recall it after 5 minutes if you’re busy. You can even control your phone’s camera using this smartwatch, apart from getting reminded when you move too far away from your device.
This device has been built using a stainless steel bezel and a ribbed silicone band. While its analog portion has a separate battery which can last for 2 years, its display can keep going for 6 days after being charged for just 3 hours.
