Mark The Spot AppiPhone users seem to be quite a bunch of fortunate lot to have several apps launched for them every single day. The latest app to be released now for iPhone is by AT&T called ‘Mark the Spot’. This app allows users to effortlessly and swiftly offer feedback on the company’s network performance in a particular place.

The new app can enhance AT&T’s present network performance data to additionally perfect network investment development and prioritization moving forward. Two button clicks are all that is required to run the Mark the Spot app.

AT&T Chief Technology Officer John Donovan, commented, “With AT&T Mark the Spot, we’re applying the power of crowdsourcing to our ongoing efforts to enhance and expand our network. Feedback from customers via AT&T Mark the Spot, combined with data from more than 964,000 miles of drive testing conducted by an independent third-party source, will enable us to most quickly and effectively identify trends and maximize the impact of our ongoing network investment. We encourage all customers to download and use the app.”

When a user stumbles upon a network service problem, they just have to push a button to point out the type of situation, and insert comments to explain the condition if needed. From there, the app can mechanically jot down the site, time of day and type of handset used. The report is then sent immediately to AT&T’s network development team.

This app was created earlier this year, and has been used by the company employees for the past few months. AT&T also intends to roll out versions of Mark the Spot app for more smartphone devices shortly.

Mark the Spot app can be downloaded for no charge from the iTunes App Store.
