Today saw the Indian launch of a new Logitech X50 wireless speaker that boasts of being an extremely portable solution for buyers who are ready to shell out Rs 2495. Slated to arrive in the market sometime in July, this product will be made available in a range of different color options.
Being a wireless speaker, it can be paired up with smartphones and tablets via Bluetooth. The Logitech X50 possesses a connection range of up to 30 feet, allowing you to play music on it from all corners of your house. Furthermore, its 750mAh rechargeable battery is capable of keeping it going for five hours on a single complete charge.
If you do not wish to pair it wirelessly, you can even take advantage of its 3.5mm jack for connecting it to your devices. The X50 kicks in tactile power and volume buttons, while it has also been granted a micro USB port for charging. This compact gadget weighs in at just 142 grams.
Logitech has blessed it with 38.1mm drivers, if you wish to know the technicalities. This new product will be facing heavy competition from the recently launched JBL Go device that can be grabbed a lower retail value.

JBL’s offering too kicks in 5 hours of battery life, but it actually holds onto a slightly weaker power pack of 600mAh. A 3.5mm auxiliary port and a micro USB port are both present on the Go as well.
There’s no particular release date that has been revealed by the makers of the Logitech X50 wireless speaker, but it should arrive in the market in the next few days, totting its Rs 2495 price tag.
