The popular website built for enhancing business opportunities for professionals, LinkedIn, recently announced through its official blog that it has updated its mobile web browser. Besides being available for iPhones and Android, it has now been optimized for the new HTML 5 mobile web browsers.

The upgraded LinkedIn app is apparently much speedier. For professionals who are always on-the-go, the app claims to provide faster features such as search and reading stream updates. It has also become more convenient to use.

Users are enabled to easily view updates and top news from their network and LinkedIn Today respectively. They can also see their invitations and messages in one place. Improvements have also been made in the update stream feature based on users’ feedback. It provides them the latest news and information from their network, company and industry which they can use through their updates stream.

The blog reveals that Groups was one of the most in-demand features. They found that users were quite enthusiastic to access this feature through their mobile phones and hence have introduced it for the mobile platform. Users can now enjoy access innumerable LinkedIn Groups and new discussions happening daily through their handsets. Furthermore, networking through the people you may know feature as well as accessing profiles or connections and sharing updates has been made simpler.
