If you’re in the market for a premium watch and have just under Rs 30000 to spare, the newly launched LG Watch Urban could just be what you’ve been looking for. The accessory isn’t your average timepiece as it also doubles as smartwatch and a companion for your smartphone.
The LG Watch Urban was originally launched back during the MWC earlier this year and it’s selling for around $349 in the US. After conversion, this amount translates to approximately Rs 22200 which is much cheaper than what the company is currently asking for. But we’re not at all surprised considering that this wouldn’t be the only overpriced device in India.
LG has designed the smartwatch with a premium form factor where it has used stainless steel for the body coated in either silver or gold finishes. The accessory is also IP67 certified dust- and water-resistant which means that it can be submerged for up to 30 minutes in 1 meter of liquid. While this makes the device ideal for use in any condition, we really would advice against taking it for a swim or in the shower.

The straps used here are 22mm in size which is standard and can be easily swapped to your liking. The Watch Urbane features a circular P-OLED display which is 1.3 inches wide. And it’s powered by a 410mAh battery which is said to deliver an entire day’s worth of activity.
