LG and Sprint are gearing up for St.Patrick’s Day as they have announced the availability of the Rumor by LG handset in green. Yes, it’s green and now Sprint customers will be able to partake in the celebration and earn some luck of their own.

The LG Rumor phone in green comes complete with a built-in MP3 player that offers a 4GB capacity microSD card slot. It also has a 1.3 mega pixel camera with 2x zoom and Bluetooth. It also features a full QWERTY slide keyboard.
Further, it also offers Sprint Navigation with GPS-enabled turn-by-turn driving direction, one click traffic rerouting and over 10 million business listings.
You will be able to access social networking sites and keep track of your children using Sprint Family Locator. Downloads of Irish-inspired ringtones are also possible. That’s not all, for the money-minded hoping to get lucky, there’s a also a feature to check your stock quotes, to see if you are in the green.
The green Rumor mobile phone by LG is also the first device from both LG and Sprint to use environmentally packaging. It comes packed in a recyclable box that is around 70% post-consumer waster and also has an eco-friendly aqueous coating.
Moreover, Sprint is also encouraging its customers to recycle old wireless phones through Project Connect by using the postage-paid return envelope that comes enclosed with the Rumor by LG. Besides, 100% of the net proceeds from Sprint Project Connect go towards supporting a cause called Internet Safety for kids via the 4NetSafety program.
The LG Rumor is already available in black white and now this is the third color option available in green especially for St.Patrick’s Day. The Rumor by LG phone in green is priced at $49.99 with a two-year service agreement, after a $30 instant rebate and a $60 mail-in rebate.
