The LG Q6 is all set to arrive in India on August 10, with the brand currently teasing the smartphone via its local social media pages. It’s also hinting at the price of the phone here, stating that it’ll cost Rs 1_,990.
That blank will probably be filled up by the number 9. The Q6 is expected to be a mid-ranger, so Rs 19990 sounds about right for it. The company actually announced 3 versions of the smartphone, the Q6, Q6 Plus and Q6a, upon its launch. It will probably just bring one version here. It’s already set up a page for the handset on its India website, confirming that the device will be an Amazon-exclusive.
When it does arrive in India, the Q6’s biggest draw will likely be its 18:9 FullVision 5.5-inch FHD+ display. Bezel-less designs have been reserved for premium handsets like the LG G6 and Galaxy S8 so far, so the new offering can capitalize on that gap in the affordable market sector. Unlike the former though, it comes with a Snapdragon 435 processor, no fingerprint reader, and a single 13MP camera.
