LG Optimus Black smartphone will enter Europe later this month

LG Optimus Black Earlier, Orange UK had announced the upcoming availability of the LG Optimus Black smartphone. This elegantly designed handset is now all set to hit stores in Europe later this month. The lightweight Android smartphone can be carried along while travelling from one place to another without any issue.

The company shares that the Optimus Black garnered a lot of attention and enjoyed pre-orders from 56 network carriers across 50 distinct countries. The mobile phone proficiently renders enhanced brightness levels and sharpness. The incorporated 4-inch NOVA screen uplifts the web browsing experience and promises to lower undesired power consumption by about 50 percent during general indoor usage as compared to traditional LCDs.

“For smartphone users who appreciate both style and substance, the LG Optimus Black offers beauty, performance and mobility in one smart package,” remarked Dr. Jong-seok Park, President and CEO of LG Electronics Mobile Communications Company. “LG Optimus Black is a significant addition to our global Optimus portfolio and we think it’ll prove to be one of our most popular phones.”

Featuring a stylish design and lustrous finish, this new LG handset runs efficiently on a 1GHz processor and 1500mAh battery. Further, it comes equipped with a 5 megapixel rear-facing camera and a 2 megapixel front-facing camera. Users can store their important documents and multimedia content using the internal 2GB memory which can be easily expanded up to 32GB. The white and pink variants of the LG Optimus smartphone are expected to be introduced in June.

The LG Optimus Black smartphone will initially be up for grabs in Europe later this month.
