Mobile lovers strewn across South Korea could sink their claws into the LG Optimus 2X back in January. By the end of that month, the device along with the Optimus Black was up for pre-order on Amazon Germany for a price of €499. European inhabitants were also treated to the handset in March. After globe-trotting to various parts of the world, LG Optimus 2X is now available through Expansys.
The LG Optimus 2X is touted to be the world’s first dual core smartphone. It enters the mobile terrain packed with Nvidia 1GHz Tegra2 dual core processor which enables owners to seamlessly multitask, surf the Internet and navigate the Android operating system without any lag.
The addition of an 8 megapixel camera allows users to record and playback video in full 1080p HD as well as share all their precious moments with friends and family on an HDTV thanks to the inclusion of the HDMI port. There is a 4 inch touchscreen that offers 800 x 480 resolution and LG’s NOVA technology.
The company packs in battery, charger, data cable, stereo headset and Quick Start guide along with the 0.50kg LG Optimus 2X. A SIM-free/Handset only version can be picked up for £449.99 from Expansys.
